Lympne Castle Wedding - Kent Wedding Photographer, Kerry Ann Duffy

Just wanted to share this photo from Tracy and Phil's Wedding at Lympne Castle.  I love it when people come up with ideas on the spot and this was so funny.  The men don't like being left out!

The Magic of Oz at The House Meadow, Kent.

For this shoot I wanted to get the colour of the images as close to the film Oz The Great and The Powerful as possible and ensure they had that whimsical, dreamy feel at the same time.  After lots of playing around with the tones, I feel I have come very close to the vision I had and I couldn't be happier.  I just love the pop of colour in the bouquet and button hole too.  Having a real couple (Megan & Dan) really helped too as there was a lot of natural emotion and chemistry.  I loved every minute of this shoot!

Recommended Suppliers - A shoot inspired by 'Oz The Great And The Powerful

The team who collaborated on this shoot were mentioned in the previous post but I just wanted to share these images which show the amazing work done by Charlotte, Becky & Joanne.
I am often asked by couples for recommendations and these ladies are always top of my list.
Charlotte of Lellas Cupcakes (as you can see, she doesn't just do cupcakes! this cake was simply beautiful)
Becky of Becky Lord Design created our beautiful stationary which was inspired by the end credits of the film.
Joanne of Joanne Truby Floral Design as well as decorating this table Joanne made the most colourful, vibrant bouquets for our girls.

Escape to Oz. An inspirational shoot at The House Meadow, inspired by the film 'Oz The Great And The Powerful'

This is a shoot that we worked so hard on and had been planning for quite some time!
Inspired by the film trailer for Disneys, ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ we were so excited by the explosion of colour, the story and the amazing costumes that we felt it could all make for an amazing wedding theme with The House Meadow as the backdrop and therefore set about planning a styled shoot. So many fantastic creative people got on board along with beautiful models to help us bring our storyboard to life and we had the most amazing day shooting this along with Ignite Films who created a behind the scenes film of the whole thing. I have so much to share but for now, here is the first image! its one of my favourites.
With huge thanks to all of the following who were involved
Stationary: Becky Lord
Make Up Artist: Megan Marks
Videographer: Ignite Films
Furniture and Lighting: Event Covered
Models: Megan, Dan, Emma and Lisa

Carly & Dave's Wedding at Rowhill Grange - Kerry Ann Duffy, Kent Wedding Photographer.

Carly & Dave's Wedding at Rowhill Grange was so beautiful.  When its all set up outside it really does have the wow factor so we had our fingers crossed for a sunny day! Fortunately is was really hot and although the forecast of a storm was correct, this did not arrive until 4pm when they sat down for dinner - perfect timing! The fact that the gazebo is tucked away means that the guests don't get to see it until they are seated for the ceremony so its all big surprise.  I also love the long walk that the bridal party have to take, it makes for a real grand entrance and they had Elbow 'One Day Like This' playing which was so moving but uplifting at the same time, amazing choice!

Dave's love of Lego was displayed through the cufflinks and the cute mini bride and groom on their table. For their tables they chose to name them after their favourite albums which, being a music lover, I thought was a great idea.

This was such a fabulous, fun wedding and I got on so well with Carly & Dave.  When I took them off to do the photos of just the two of them, we giggled the whole way through and for a couple who said that they were not keen on having their photos taken I think they look absolutely gorgeous as I am sure you will agree! Some weddings you would like to do all over again and this was definitely one of them.  Such an amazing day.
